The gospel today, talks about division, division from son from his father, his father from his son, the daughter from her mother, her mother from her daughter, and so on. At first brush one wonders, why would the Bible say that?
The priest in his Homily said that we should allow God's will to rule over our own will. That we should be able to discern what it is that God wants us to do.
Aging with joy...jauncing through life, like it's the first time, a great discovery, sharing experiences about my life as an elderly woman. There is joy in aging indeed, there is wisdom earned. The wisdom to believe, to cook brazenly and to eat wisely.
